Located on California highway 18 between the city of Hesperia and Lucerne Valley California, is a group of rocks known as Dead Man's Point. At the junction of two highways this formation is a local land mark. In years past the tall pointed rock in the center was a favorite back ground for westerns such as Roy Rogers, and the Lone Ranger. This is also the location where a Star Trek episode was shot: Kirk vs. the Gorn.

All paintings are done on Wallis paper in pastel.
